Please join Women in Healthcare for an exclusive sneak peek and construction tour of the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center. This facility is being designed to house the State of Maryland’s second busiest trauma center, Prince George’s County’s acute care teaching hospital and regional referral center. The facility is tentatively scheduled for opening in April 2021.
Please note that this tour takes place on an active construction site. Personal Protective Equipment including vests, hardhats, safety glasses, cut resistant gloves and boots will be required. Limited quantities will be available on loan on a first come, first serve basis – but we highly encourage you to bring your own if possible!
Parking instructions and meeting location will be sent out to registered attendees one week prior to the event.
Check-In and Networking: 2:00pm – 2:30pm
Facility Tour: 2:30pm – 3:30pm
